Best Friend Session in Downtown Bentonville

Hey everybody!!  Check out one of my favorite sessions from this spring of Michelle and Tina.  The two ladies are the best of friends.  I've known Michelle for a few years and heard many Tina & Gigi stories from her so I felt like I knew Tina and Gigi, her loveable Chihuahua, long before meeting them during this session.  Michelle wanted to do something special for her friend who was turning 30 and a photo session was the perfect way to capture the memory!  The girls popped mini bottles of glittery champagne and we shared a lot of laughs in downtown Bentonville!!

3B Giveaway with 104.9 X

Last month I photographed a very special night for one lucky lady and her three friends sponsored by the coolest radio show in Northwest Arkansas, 3B Radio from 104.9 X.   A contest was held over several days on Facebook where the winners received gifts that included tickets to Third Eye Blind held at The AMP and makeovers from Salon Fix at Sola Salon Studios in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  The beautiful ladies were pampered while enjoying buckets of Palm Breeze on ice and delicious appetizers from Mermaids and they were even chauffeured to their destination by Ambassador Transportation, what a night!!  It was such a blast to photograph as a ‘paparazzi’ and capture friends in their true element, having fun and being girly!

Southwest Missouri Nature Inspired Child Photography

Hey everyone!!  I have looked forward to photographing this little lady for a long time, all by herself and in her element.  Paisley’s mom is a long time friend of mine and the two girls came to my house in Southwest Missouri where we picked wildflowers, skipped rocks at the creek (one of Paisley’s favorite activities), and enjoyed a sunny and breezy Sunday afternoon.  Nature was definitely an inspiration in the shoot.

I jumped at the chance to make another flower head piece for this session.  Paisley’s flower crown was created with blush and burgundy strawflowers and baby’s breath.  The adorable pink outfit she is wearing in the field is hand made by her Mimi as well as the flower patchwork quilt!!  I love how those small details came together.  After the session we cooled off inside and little P enjoyed a sweet treat while helping me test lighting in a studio setting.  We had such a great time on this session and I look forward to many more with this southern sweetie.
