Northwest Arkansas Mom & Me Portraits

Witnessing a friend become a mother for the first time is awe-inspiring.  A life transformation of the most profound kind is happening right before one’s eyes and I’m unsure if new mothers realize just how absolutely beautiful they are!  I have a new found respect and adoration for my sweet friend and her lovely gal.  The photos from this session are laid back and easy going, my favorite kind, and I think they showcase the sweet relationship between a mom and her baby girl. 

Johnson Family Lifestyle and Newborn Photography

The family featured in today's blog is something special.  I recently photographed a lifestyle newborn and family session in the home they share in Bentonville.  The newest member of the family, Journey, was only seven days old in this set and you can see just how much big brother Jaiden cares for her already.  I cherish this family so much not only because they are a part of my own family but because Aubrey and Kyle are role models in the love they have for each other and their children but also their testament in faith.  

 

Burk Family | Lifestyle Sessions

The past couple of fall seasons I have met with the Burk family to capture photos at our favorite pumpkin patch in Northwest Arkansas!!  Recently I was reminiscing over the photos that were taken at McGarrah’s Farms and it is beautiful to see how their family has grown.  Next year there will be another member of the family and I am so stoked to meet the little guy in just two of short months!!  One awesome ‘feel-good’ thing about being in the photography business and photographing families is witnessing their growth.  I’m forever grateful for being allowed into their lives to capture little glimpses of this through my lens.
